Embedded Linux Components

1. GNU Toolchain:

   Current stable version: gcc 2.95.3, binutils 2.9.1 and newlib 1.8.0
   Supported targets: ARCtangent A4, ARCtangent A5, ARC600 and ARC700
   
   Note: Assembler supports ARC DSP Extensions.

2. Linux:

   Current stable version: 2.4.20
   Supported targets: ARC700
   
   Note: Supports DSP Extensions, Lazy Context Switching for Extensions, supports Multiple Address Spaces provided by the ARC 700 MMU.

3. uClibc:

   Current stable version: 0.9.26
   Supported targets: ARCtangent A4, ARCtangent A5, ARC700
   
   Note: Alpha support for dynamic linker, MMU support on ARC 700.
