Case Studies

BSP for chip manufacturer's development platform

Codito successfully built a complete board support package around a new embedded processor. This project involved an expert kernel team, having in-depth knowledge of all kernel sub-systems. We developed a custom bootloader, FLASH, USB, ethernet drivers, all requirements for a complete BSP around the development platform for the new processor core. Codito also built a test scaffold based on LTP for testing and validating the kernel and device drivers around the chip.

Wireless device driver development for sniffer

Codito's wireless and networking team helped the product engineering team of a Wireless startup company to develop drivers and an embedded product with advanced wireless sniffing capabilities. This solution designed with Codito is now part of their product portfolio.

Device driver for VGA/CF Card for the Simputer

Codito enabled the Simputer (a low cost handheld developed out of Bangalore, India) to be used as a portable presentation device. The team at Codito developed drivers and test applications for PCMCIA VGA cards for the Simputer, for use by customers of the device all over the world.
